I’m a thirty-something southern California native with a BA in English Literature and Language and nearly ten years of experience in academic writing and coaching. I’ve spent eight years employed by one of the big five tech companies, and have since gained additional training in editing and publishing from UCLA.

My education and experience in technology have put me in a unique position to work in the booming publishing industry, but I also bring my personal passions to the table; as an avid reader, I’m up on the trends, the tropes, and what today’s readers look for when finding their next read. Combining these very different types of knowledge enables me to better work with indie authors as they prepare for publication, whether self-publishing via an online platform or querying a publisher.

Ultimately, my goals are to make editing more accessible to new and independent authors, and contribute to the greater community of literature enthusiasts by assisting diverse authors in finding their voice, their audience, and their success. My speciality is adult fiction with a romantic plot or subplot in the paranormal, fantasy, historical, and contemporary genres, but I’m happy to work with authors on a number of other projects. I offer a variety of editing services that can be tailored to each author’s needs, including alpha and beta reading, proofreading, copyediting, and line editing.
